Employee Stories

Kirsten, Marketing Manager

We each know that I improve the quality of patient care and all things Boston Scientific. And that needs to play into everything that we do in our day and everything that our job is about. Because Marketing plays such a critical role in deciding what we have to deliver to our customers, what the specifications of those products might need to be, it is important that we’re always cognizant of what the impact of our decisions are in the product development process. And as we’re out in the field and we’re seeing cases and we’re observing, we always have to think about where there’s room for improvement. And diligently report back if there are problems, if there are successes, if there are new techniques or new learnings that could make us more effective in treating our patients. So, again, it’s this personal accountability that’s required of every person here, never to assume that somebody else is going to take care of it or take responsibility for it and, certainly, never to assume that you can’t have an impact. It’s empowering to realize that you can have an impact in everything you do each day to ultimately deliver quality products to our patients.
