Catherine, Marketing Science Manager

So the way in which I joined Boston Scientific is I actually went to a career presentation on campus at the Anderson School at UCLA. I went to the presentation, really thought the presentation was fantastic, learned a lot about the med device industry. Realized that was a place I really wanted to work. So I went ahead and did an internship at the CRM Division. Learned a lot through that internship in marketing, gave me a chance to really learn a lot about the organization and think about where I wanted to work fulltime. And then I came back into marketing as a fulltime employee. I worked in the Market Development Organization where we market to referring physicians for about two years and then I transitioned into the New Product Planning Organization where I had an opportunity to work on next generation products. From there, I actually got promoted into the Marketing Science Organization and that’s where I work now.
