Mark, Post-Market Surveillance Director

There was this one couple that was sitting and having dinner. So we struck up a conversation. And it came up that I told them that I was now living in Minneapolis and then he asked the question, Are you crazy? You’re from Jamaica and now living in Minneapolis, what would ever bring you to actually live in Minneapolis? So I told him the story I was living in California and then my job brought me to Minnesota to work for Boston Scientific. And then he looked at me and he stood up and said, I want to shake your hand. And so I shook his hand and I said, What is this for? And he said, “I just want to thank you and Boston Scientific because you guys have actually made a significant difference in my life. See, right now I have four of your DES stents in my heart and it is because of that my wife and I are able to be here in Jamaica enjoying this beautiful island of yours and it’s just, it’s incredible what you guys are doing.”
